1504.1: Fire retardant roofs are roofing assemblies complying with UCB Standard 15-2 and listed as Class A, B or C.

“CLASS “A” IS THE BEST FIRE RATING POSSIBLE”

Our Class “A” fire rated roofing is available as a shingle or panel.

These products are not flammable or combustible, and are placed over flame resistant underlayment (VersaShield) and are closed at the eave to prevent accumulation of debris.

1. Earthquake Safety

• These interlocking panels are screwed down to your roof deck and interlocked and will not slide down during California shakers.

2. What is a Vail Cool Roof?

• The panels are coated with BASF’S Ultra-Cool Coating that reduce the heat gain of a dwelling and qualify for the roofing tax credit.

3. High Winds

• The Vail Cool roof has stood up to hurricane Katrina.

4. Value

• There is no roofing material more capable of protecting your home from wind, rain, fire or rot than a durable and energy efficient metal roof.
  Metal roofs are so durable and desirable that appraisers add approximately $1.45 per square foot to the home value.
